Did you know that millions of children are yearly deprived of the simple things in life, such as proper food, clothing, good drinking water, health care, and schools in Nigeria, West Africa?
God has heard the cries of these little ones and in return touched the heart of a humble woman in Columbus, Georgia sending her to make the difference. Dr. Gloria Johnson-Rodgers has launched a great humanitarian relief effort aimed at alleviating the poverty, suffering, hunger, pain and distress of women and children in Nigeria.
Mission Nigeria's objectives include:
1. Heightening awareness of poverty eradication among women and children in Nigeria.
2. Highlighting the need to stimulate programs, ideas necessary to address human concerns.
3. Disseminating information from workshops, seminars and symposiums on adolescent health,
drug abuse, nutrition, reproductive health, diseases and health education.
Food and medicines have been provided for the people of Nigeria. However, the problem is poverty and not starvation.
MN addresses the epidemic problem of AIDS among Africans by teaching AIDS awareness. Teaching is supplemented with medical care and treatment for AIDS patients.
